In the Netherlands the community care and residential aged care are widespread among dutch people. Social services are so well developed that there is not a great need for caring roles by family members.
This website is a living document of our worldwide research into the lives of elderly. In October 2017 there was an International Festival on Elderly in The Netherlands, accompanied by the publication of our book and documentary. Currently we are promoting our Istitute Aetatis.
