In Bolivia the majority of old people live with their children or other relatives. Elderly are respected and has a major role in giving advice to the adults. Moreover, old people are respected and appreciated deeply, and when parents get old, it is responsibility of the children to take care of them.
This website is a living document of our worldwide research into the lives of elderly. In October 2017 there was an International Festival on Elderly in The Netherlands, accompanied by the publication of our book and documentary. Currently we are promoting our Istitute Aetatis.
