Forgotten present: a photo book on dementia

In 2006, we did a project in a caring home for people with dementia. What we saw was a whole world locked away behind closed doors. It was a place where people were sitting in a hall all day, dozing off. It was a place where people lay in their beds, never moving, talking or opening their eyes. Together with the director of this organization, we wished to show these people to the world, their existence, and make people think about what we do about people with dementia.
